There are four common reasons you may not be able to upload your files:

One:

• Your product does not allow uploading through our system (Custom Services).
• You chose to FTP your files (Event Master requires 30 photos uploaded and the rest sent via FTP).
• You may have exceeded the size limit (500MB). Simply upload your files in small enough sized batches.
• You chose to Mail your files during the ordering process.

Two:

• The Java uploader may experience difficulties with large (200MB+) submissions.
• You can send your files in chunks (keep them in folders if Wedding in Pictures). When everything has been uploaded then submit the project to send the files to our server.

Three:

• Sometimes browsers can exhibit strange behavior due to cookies, passwords, etc. being stored in memory. Emptying the cache, deleting cookies, and restarting the browser should allow the uploader to work correctly.

Four:

• We only accept the following file types: .jpeg, .jpg, .tiff, .tif, .gif, .png

Any projects that do not require large quantities of scanning can expedite the amount of time needed for completion. The following charges apply:

• Under 1 week: +30% of total
• 1 week: +20% of total
• 2 weeks: +10% of total

No. Storymix Media cannot ensure shipping because we do not control how the media has been packaged nor do we control the actual shipping process. Use of a national shipping company with a tracking number is recommended - follow their instructions for packaging and you’ll have no problems. We ship all critical material with UPS.

For the highest quality, we record up to 2 hours of video onto one DVD disc.

No. We cannot account for the quality of the film and video sent to us. We do use professional quality equipment specifically designed to transfer your film and video.

Fix, no. Repair and improve, yes. Custom Creation has options for Image Correction, Photo Repair or Video Enhancement. Storymix Media does take poor quality photos and video/film and incorporate them in a way that makes them enjoyable to view. Take a look at our samples which have many examples of old film and poor pictures used in a final movie with a great end result.

You should understand that playing copyrighted music in your movie is illegal. Even if you purchased a track legally, there are sync licensing and multiple royalty fees that can cost thousands of dollars for a single use. Without these you could be stopped from sharing it the way you want to - or worse. Storymix Media has partnered with recording artists and production music companies to acquire thousands of hours of fully-licensed soundtrack music and sound effects. No. We suggest purchasing an additional DVD(s) or hard drive. We are considering adding an option for customers to have Storymix Media store their original digital movie file on our servers for a fee. Contact us if you would like this feature.

Yes. Select Drop n Go. You can put as much media as you want into one of our 3 sized boxes and we'll create a great movie. All you do is answer a few simple questions.
