The part of wedding planning I am most proud about is that we got 30 people out of our two families together for a once in a lifetime vacation in the Virgin Islands.  To me, the most important thing was being able to spend quality time with family and friends and by having a destination wedding, we were able to spend a week with our closest family and friends.  I am also proud that I did not get stressed out about all of the small details that don’t really matter, but instead enjoyed my time being engaged and enjoyed our vacation.

Where did you get married?

Duncan and I got married on Lindquist Beach on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?

The WeddingMix app was appealing for us because we had a week long trip with family and friends followed by our wedding at the end of the week.  We wanted to capture the entire week so we would remember it forever.  It was also very cool to be able to get fun wedding video from our guests’ eyes!

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

I would love to remember the whole week and how much fun everyone had. Besides actually getting married, my favorite part was the “rehearsail” day sail we took to the British Virgin Islands the day before the wedding.  What more fun could you have than having your 30 closest family and friends on a catamaran sailing, snorkeling, and having fun in the sun?

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

WeddingMix allowed me to capture all of these moments because I was able to hand out the cameras and let people video anything they wanted.  In addition, it was very convenient to get photos and video from everyone using the app since everyone was already taking photos and videos on their cell phone.
