Marie + Robert | Tuscan Styled Wedding in Canton, Ohio

Straight out of Tuscany – today’s wedding includes the whole family. Guest blogger bride Marie shares about her gorgeous vineyard wedding in Ohio. The amazing part? They were able to decide to get an iphone wedding video the day before, ordered the WeddingMix app and still captured an incredible number of memorable scenes! Our ceremony and reception were both held at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio – modeled after Tuscany (gorgeous place!) I think a few of the most important things to capture were my father walking me into our spiral ceremony setup, and anything with our kids and our first dance. Most of all we wanted to see our day through the eyes of our guests 🙂

When we started planning our wedding we wanted to have a very romantic setting and feel to the entire night. Our ceremony didn’t start until 6:30, and my brother officiated for us. (how cool is that to have my brother pray over our marriage and give us our vows!) We chose a very unique setup for our ceremony so that it was more intimate than your “typical” wedding.

We wanted a memorable wedding because so many weddings we’ve been to we’re forgettable. As you can see from our photos from our ridiculously talented photographers, our day was beyond typical! Everything was perfect, even the 100+ temperatures 🙂

My dress was custom made by a very talented designer (Fyodor Atelier) and was a combination of his vision and mine and turned out exactly how his drawings looked and fit like a glove after the many fittings and fine tuning! Robert wore a custom made tux and looked so good I had to run to him in my 6″ Rachel Zoe shoes! (see running picture below). We had so much fun and it was such a romantic night for everyone ❤

We were so lucky to have our 2 little ones Jackson and Anna be such a huge part of our day. There was a very emotional moment right after the ceremony where we were all crying, that was one of the best moments of our lives; seeing tears of joy from our kids immediately brought tears to ours❤.

I was lucky to have fantastic vendors from our wedding planner to our linen company and everything in between. All our vendors were people I felt like I could totally hang out with after this was all over!

For our honeymoon we went back to the very first place we vacationed. The Ritz Carlton on Key Biscayne.
