Mai + Sheldon | Duke Chapel Ceremony; Epic Dancing Reception in North Carolina

Thinking about this particular wedding, the adage about mullets come to mind (stay with me here): “business up front, party in the back.” Our featured Storymix couple for the week had what I imagine the perfect combination of things that most to-be-weds search for — a classy and romantic church wedding at the amazing cathedral of the Duke University’s Chapel in Durham, North Carolina (on the campus where they met, by the way) followed up by some of the best dancing footage we’ve seen since these guys. Their guests certainly did their best to wear down the floor at their reception, hosted by the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, also in Durham.

And on the the dancing. Check out the WeddingMix camera making an appearance on the right. I love the idea of us photobombing a photog’s shot.

The dancing portion also had a neat Mardi Gras theme where the wedding party and some of the guests donned masks for a bit. Check out the video for all the great moves, and cheers to this sweet southern belle and her beau!
