Heartfelt & Comfortable Tijeras, NM Wedding | The Hoober’s Wedding
This Tijeras, NM wedding video was full of love and emotion. The bride and groom had their friends and family use the WeddingMix app, to help them capture their special wedding moments-for their affordable but personalized wedding video.
Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.
I loved planning my wedding (for the most part). I think what I did best was approaching the whole process with more than the end in mind. I really wanted to enjoy being engaged and planning our event. When things got stressful, I reminded myself that I wanted this to be fun. I knew I was making memories with those I loved most.
I especially adored picking out our stationary and researching wedding dresses and flowers online. I could not wait to see what the reception space would look like with the linens, cake, escort cards, etc. It was very satisfying to see the final product on our wedding day.
Where were you married?
We were married in Tijeras, New Mexico, which is located in the Sandia Mountains east of Albuquerque. Our venue was the clubhouse for a neighborhood called Nature Pointe. It was beautiful.
Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?
I like that WeddingMix allowed us to keep all of the photos and videos our guests would be posting to social media anyway all in one place. I also like the idea of having some remnant of the experiences our guests had.
How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?
I knew it would go quickly (and it did!), and I knew I’d miss a lot of the fun being had. As sappy as it is to say this, watching our videos for the first time online brought tears to my eyes.
What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?
I want to remember feeling happy, loved, and supported. We had so many important people in one place representing experiences we’ve had before becoming husband and wife. The most tender moments for me were during the ceremony and the toasts.
I had some great advice from a friend: stop and take it all in. Before you walk down the aisle, relish that moment and acknowledge that this is beautiful. You and your partner worked hard to plan your wedding, so now it’s time to enjoy it. No more worrying. Be present on your big day!
very nice, heartfelt and very well done. thanks for sharing
