"What Does the Fox Say" Wedding Video in Wedgewood Fallbrook

It has been six months since I lived out the fairytale of marrying my best friend in the world – you know what they say, “time flies when you are having fun”. And If I had to describe our wedding in one word, the word I would use would have to be, fun!

We got married at the Golf Club of California in Fallbrook at a Wedgewood facility. We loved the convenience of an all-inclusive type venue since we both work a lot and it made traveling easy for our guests!

From a planning standpoint, it couldn’t have gone any better! Any snag or small nuance was brushed off in the excitement of the day and I am most proud of all of the personal touches we incorporated into the day. We had pictures of our parents’ and grandparents’ weddings on display to convey our thanks to the generations, without whom, we would never have existed to have found each other! We had both of our favorite sports teams incorporated in small ways (Kevin is a Raider fan and I am a Mets girl), and since I took his surname of Fox, I even had a little ring I wore has a tiny fox on it. It was little touches like these that made the day even more special and personal.

The WeddingMix app was appealing for us because we had a lot of people traveling into town for the big day and we wanted to be able to have everyone be able to contribute to our story from start to finish. We liked that the cameras could be passed around without anyone feeling like someone was in their face or that they were on the spot. It also gave it a more personal feel to the day, which we are all about.

Aside from the ceremony, the most memorable moment has got to be the flash mob we were surprised with by my Aunt Lisa. Since the “What Does the Fox Say” song was such a big hit this year and it was a “Fox”wedding, she ordered animal masks that matched the song and placed them in bags under all of the tables at the reception. When the song was played, we were completely surprised when all of our friends and family jumped up, put on their masks, and danced around the floor. I can be heard on the video just laughing uncontrollably. It was fantastic!!

I am so happy we decided to use WeddingMix at our wedding because the day went by so quickly. I am so thankful I can go back and watch it again — we were able to capture so many memorable moments in throughout the ceremony and reception, including our first look. I am sure there was a lot we missed just from the natural excitement and chaos the day brought, so it is great to be able to see it all.

We have opted to have the WeddingMix editors pick out our scenes and edit our video for us — we just received the rough cut for approval and can’t wait to see the whole thing completed. We are so grateful to have such wonderful memories captured forever!
