Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.

We are most proud of how much our close friends supported our big day! From coordinating the entire event to helping with DIY details, every one of them helped in their own way to make sure everything went smooth and stress free for both of us.

Why was getting your WeddingMix video personally appealing to you?

We wanted a video of our wedding day so we could look back and always remember. Having our friends take video and photos added personality and perspective to our day that we were able to share and enjoy. It was especially helpful, since we can’t be everywhere at once when the funny, special, awe moments happen.

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

Groom (PJ): Seeing Kayla walk down the aisle with our little pup, Leo. That moment when we were holding hands looking eye to eye, knowing that we are in this together. Spending the weekend with close friends at a beach house to celebrate us, being surrounded by support. Talking and laughing while making s’ mores around the bonfire or jumping around like a kid with sparklers.

Bride (Kayla): Hanging out with all my closest friends while prepping the night before. Locking eyes with PJ for the first time that day, my heart pounded with excitement that I was about to marry this man. Hearing the excitement and love in his voice as he said his vows to me. Watching the dolphins while eating our dinner on the beach. Everyone sitting around the bonfire toasting marshmallows and sharing stories about each other.

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

We couldn’t be everywhere at once, and we couldn’t be a part of every conversation or moment. Now we have those moments captured for us to always look back on, and we couldn’t have done it without our friends enjoying themselves by celebrating our day and using the app.
