Barbara + Bill | Old-Fashioned Lace and Roses in New Jersey

Barb is a simple Jersey girl who never thought too much about her future wedding. That is, until she met the right guy!

The couple and their guests used the WeddingMix app & HD cameras to capture every candid, priceless moment of their wedding. “I was never the girl who dreamed about her wedding day since she was little. But then 3 years ago, I met the man that would change all of that for me. I wanted a wedding that not only reflected the people that Bill and I are, but also was a memorable experience for our guests. Both of us are romantics, love the beach, and I have loved all thing vintage since I was a little girl. As you can see from our wedding video, we were able to include all of that and some!

“We got some of the romance right before the ceremony, with Bill getting me the most beautiful watch I’ve ever seen. The ceremony featured a string trio with Bill’s sister singing the Ave Maria towards the end of the mass. The most beautiful part of the ceremony for me though was the amount of love I felt in the church that day and something that I will never forget.

“Our Mass was beautiful, but our reception at the Abbie Holmes Estate was dance party with cocktails, wine and beer that were hand picked with love. I really loved that weeks after our wedding, we got to see interviews that our cameramen did with some of our guests. They shared their love and humor with us in such an intimate way that I don’t think would have been captured had we gone with a professional videographer. Sometimes I do wish that we can go back to that day and experience it again. This is by far the best possible way that we can do this.”

I love how Barbara used a lot of pink yet she picked just the right shades so the color doesn’t scream. And lace can easily look stuffy, but in the perfect amounts here and with her other details, it looks dainty and chic. And what Southern gent could get hitched without a Big Buck Hunter groom’s cake?
