After spending the majority of my budget (which doubled by the time is was all said and done) on my reception venue – The Knickerbocker hotel, video didn’t quite make its way into the overall wedding plans.

That’s when my mother learned about WeddingMix while watching ABC News one evening (about one month before the wedding.) She felt very strongly about capturing the evening on video and offered to pay the VERY reasonable price. I was crazy busy so I was shocked to see the cameras had already arrived at my mothers house when I went over to work on my DIY place cards.

I had many doubts about the cameras – no one would use them – my friends some how would break them – someone would sneak in and steal one – the list goes on and on. But, by the end of the night either my mom, bridesmaids or friends, scooped them all up and they safely made it to my moms hotel room. I watched a couple short videos that morning and was shocked at the amount of footage my guests has captured.

As a matter of fact, I can see him and the WeddingMix camera in several photo shots. Thank you! You really helped make this video all it will be.

It’s important to point out the fact that single videos (like the one of our wedding party dance) were posted on Facebook – and they were awesome. But there’s nothing quite like a well packaged video that captures all the moments of the evening. A video to watch for years to come. Memories to keep replaying and replaying – because that’s what will happen – I’ll watch this video over and over and over again.

I received the email that my WeddingMix highlight video was done just this morning I pulled over as I was driving to work and watched it in my car wearing a huge smile.
