Chico wedding video | Alicia + Zeb

Congratulations to Alicia and Zeb! This Chico wedding was captured beautifully. The couple had their friends and family use the WeddingMix app – which allowed everyone to get in on the fun of catching every special moment for the couple’s one-of-a-kind wedding video!

Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.

The part of our wedding that Zeb and I are probably most proud of would be that almost all of the decorations were handmade by either one of us or a good friend or family member. We did this to save money but also because we wanted our wedding day theme to embody the essence of our relationship.

Where did you get married?

When Zeb and I first began planning our wedding we both agreed that having our friends and family with us was more important than anything else. We live in Houston, Texas but both of us are Northern California natives so we had the pleasure of throwing a destination wedding. We ended up picking the Butte Creek Country Club in Chico, CA for our venue.

Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?

The WeddingMix app appealed to us because it was a relatively affordable way to record our day. We had already planned to have a photographer and with the app, many of our friends got to be the videographer. Also, we liked the DIY feel of getting to help edit the finished video.

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

We both agree that the best part of the day was our wedding ceremony. To us it was perfect.

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

We had two of the WeddingMix app camera’s rolling during the ceremony and got to choose which one was better. With a traditional videographer, you don’t get that. Also, with our friend’s holding the camera’s they captured moment’s we didn’t get to see, like my nephew and our flower girl playing tag during the reception.
