Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.

I’m just happy everything worked out. We spent so long figuring out the details, from cocktail napkins, to linens, to music to the band. I’m so happy it all worked out because it seems like everyone had a great time!

Where did you get married?

We got married at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, with the reception at the Boston College Club.

Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?

We really wanted a wedding video but we didn’t want a stranger getting in everyone’s face while they were trying to relax and have fun. We thought this was a great way to get a real feel for the party because people would be more relaxed and comfortable if it’s their friend holding the camera!

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

Our officiant was a great friend of ours who just did a truly wonderful and amazing job. He was funny and sincere and just a wonderful choice. The entire ceremony was perfect. The speeches were incredible also. Everyone did such an amazing job; had us laughing and crying, sometimes at the same time. And finally, our dances. So much practice went into every dance: Our first dance, the father-daughter and the mother-son. It was really special to be able to share those moments with everyone.

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

Our friends all knew that these were the important moments to us, so having them help to capture them was truly fantastic. It made everyone feel involved and it was so intimate and wonderful.
