Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.

I was most proud of how calm we stayed during the whole wedding process. We were doing most of the work DIY-style, which can be stressful. Yet, we were able to keep each other grounded and remember the goal: to spend the rest of our lives together!

Where did you get married?

We got married in Kingston, NY at Twin Lakes, this beautiful venue overlooking a lake.

Why was using the WeddingMix app appealing for your big day?

We really loved our photography team and knew they would capture the important moments beautifully. However, every year we watch the homemade video of my parents’ wedding and I didn’t want to regret not having filmed the ceremony, or the crazy cousins dancing on the floor, or our siblings’ toasts, or our first dance. We really couldn’t afford the cost of a professional videographer, but WeddingMix provided such a great and affordable option and a great activity for our high school aged cousins who were going to be pretty bored otherwise!

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

I am so happy that we got our ceremony on video. I have already watched it a few times, and every time I have the biggest smile on my face! I also love being able to see my sister’s maid of honor toast. She did an amazing job and I tear up every time.

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

Without WeddingMix we would only have our memories of the actual day. With WeddingMix we are able to relive the most special day of our lives (so far) whenever we want!
