On their wedding pre-planning road trip from Connecticut to Montreal, Martine and Chris really touched our hearts with their authenticity. They traveled roughly 6 hours to Canada’s cultural capital in Montreal from Connecticut. Through WeddingMix’s video app you can really sense the excitement from this adorable couple’s voices.
One of our favorite things about this couple is Martine’s delicious documentation of good eats in Montreal for her upcoming wedding.
The sheer glee of what the open road has to offer is contagious, making a lengthy road trip a lot more alluring than it actually is! Luckily Martine has a knack for finding good eats all around Montreal.
Just check out what she had to say about the food tasting experience:
“Just got back from a fabulous weekend in Montreal and spent the past few days crossing off a number of items on our to-do list! It was so great to get out of town for a few days and start seeing the wedding details come together. this trip really helped me release the stress and get SUPER excited again for the wedding! Mr. M and I decided to drive up to Montreal since it’s only about a 5 or 6 hour drive from where we live. As soon as we got to town, we checked into the hotel where the wedding will be and immediately met with the event manager and chef for an incredible food tasting. We started off by tasting the canapes that will be served during cocktail hour”
Next up for the tasting were the options for the first course that will be served at the reception (after the green salad). We had a choice between goat cheese and grilled vegetables or smoked salmon served with lettuce/cucumber wrap and a horseradish cream sauce;
The goat cheese was by far our favorite–the cheese was absolutely delicious and the veggies were grilled to perfection–cooked through but still a little bit of crunch to them.
Last but not least, the main course! The options were either the grilled Angus beef sirloin served with mashed potatoes and asparagus with a black pepper sauce and the sea bass filet served with polenta and asparagus with a sweet red pepper sauce; both were Divine!”
Martine has a difficult road ahead, thankfully it’s a good dilemma as she is still debating between which of these extravagant dishes will be served on the day of her wedding! We hope to see plenty of good eats, scenic Montreal, and fine wine from this highly entertaining couple!
Best of luck to you both and embedded below is a trailer for their sure to be delightful wedding experience!
Martine and Chris did an excellent job in showing the variety of ways to use WeddingMix’s app. It’s not exclusively an app for recording videos and images on the wedding day. It’s a wonderful tool in documenting important wedding planning trips, dress shopping, and anything else you could imagine! It’s about capturing the entire experience of your special celebration of love!
