1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

We are most proud of the fact we were able to get our closest family and friends together for what turned out to be an awesome vacation for everyone. Our families had never met, so this was a big moment for us.

2. Where did you get married?

We had a destination wedding at Niagara Falls, NY. Our wedding ceremony was overlooking the Falls.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

It was not in our budget to have photographer and videographer at both our wedding ceremony and reception. We felt like it was more important to have a professional photographer and videographer at our ceremony, but to have our friends and family take pictures and video during our reception to capture those special moments.

4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?

We knew we wanted a wedding video that would capture our complete wedding experience. Just before our wedding, we traveled to Toronto Canada to have some quality time together before meeting our families in Niagara Falls, NY for the wedding. We knew we wanted to capture all of the pre-wedding moments in our wedding video. Lastly, we really wanted to capture some of our honeymoon in our wedding video. It was our first cruise, and we had a lot of great moments and met some awesome people! When we thought of what we were wanting in our wedding video, we wanted to relive all of those special moments we had from pre-wedding through the honeymoon.

Shop around to find what is going to work best for your budget. Set a budget and stick to it. Decide what things you want to spend the most money on and what things you are willing to DIY to save on so that you can spend more money on the items the mean more to you.

We had our wedding through The Falls Wedding Chapel. Sally and Bob were great! Sally made sure everything was perfect, and I never worked about anything.

We had our wedding reception at Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. The team there is amazing and the food was excellent. They even made sure we had some of the local wines and they were delicious! We loved everything. Our favorite part was our gelato bar to go with our wedding cake.
